    Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in a similar role



    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Chinese Chef with deep expertise in preparing authentic Chinese cuisine, including Cantonese, Sichuan, and Hunan styles. The ideal candidate should be proficient in wok cooking, steaming, dim sum preparation, and other traditional Chinese culinary techniques. This role requires creativity, consistency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.



    Key Responsibilities:




    • Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese dishes, including appetizers, main courses, soups, noodles, and rice.

    • Execute traditional cooking techniques such as stir-frying, steaming, roasting, and braising.

    • Plan and develop seasonal or themed Chinese menu items in collaboration with the Executive Chef.

    • Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with standardized recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.

    • Monitor food stock and manage inventory for Chinese kitchen ingredients (e.g., sauces, spices, noodles).

    • Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines.

    • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in Chinese culinary preparation and kitchen safety.



    Requirements:




    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chinese Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or cloud kitchen.

    • Strong knowledge of regional Chinese cuisines and ability to adapt to customer preferences.

    • Skilled in using traditional Chinese kitchen tools and equipment, such as woks and steamers.

    • Ability to manage multiple orders while maintaining food quality and presentation.

    • Culinary diploma or equivalent certification in Chinese cuisine is preferred.

    • Good communication and team leadership skills.

    • Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
